Track 1k and maybe 4k once track fit
Road bike TT at moment as struggling with TT position and injury
Road/circuit/crit racing
Zwift races

As able-bodied race I am back to 3rd cat vet as rebuilding my cat level (I was a 1st at one time pre accident)
As disabled I am C4 (even though I don't agree with BC)

This year I did what I wanted to get fit with some races thrown in. I won a road bike TT and got some times I wanted
For 2024 I want to try and win more able-bodied races and disabled races and I am also racing in the masters so will try in there as well.
(Again because of BC Paris is a no go as they will not hear my appeal as I am still waiting on stuff off them, as in how I walk unaided even though I use a wheelchair)

As a rider I don't give up even if it takes me a few years to get back and I will kill myself to get a team mate a win. I worked as domestic for the team in the mountains races and had free range on rolling/flat courses as I have always been more a sprinter

I used to enjoy the quiet part of riding by myself but then I got in the BC team so that stopped, I just like being on the bike and I enjoy riding in the wet. I also lover the mountains I may not be fast going up but I am going down as very good at riding a course blind as my old teammates will tell you

Why I started is a strange one really as I was in my 30s when I started. I had been riding motorcycles since 17. Going away for my wife's birthday, big open road turning across road in to petrol station and a car overtook us and hit us side on. Lucky my wife bounced and I broke my finger all the right gear on. It killed my confidence so I started riding a mountain bike got up to 50 mile rides and switched to a cad2 Cannondale road bike and went from there.

If you want more of my timeline just let me know but I think most know about what happened from first accident in 2001 up to big accident in 2011
