Combining Shimano’s prestigious Di2 wireless technology with its 105 series, this front derailleur is a perfect choice of upgrade for riders who have only experienced mechanical shifting and ergonomics previously. With its precise shifting operation merged together with a range of ride-enhancing technologies, this model is fully equipped for long days out on the road.

The Di2 wireless platform brings quick and smooth front shifts. And a choice of manual shifts or synchronised shifting assist modes such as Semi-Synchro or Full-Synchro which is a bit like having your own personal assistant.

In Semi-Synchro mode, the rear derailleur automatically adjusts to reduce big jumps in gear ratios allowing you to maintain your pace and rhythm. In Full-Synchro mode, the front and rear derailleurs work in perfect harmony to get you in the right gear at the right time, so you never have to worry about it. Slick communications with the rear derailleur combined with programmed chain guide control minimises chain drop. And top gear teeth capacity is 50-52T. It’s up to you how little or often you think about gear ratios!

Shimano’s E-Tube Project Cyclist application allows you to customise your bike, update firmware, and maintain it by connecting it wirelessly to your bike. You can also get more detailed bike maintenance by connecting to your bike by wire with the E-Tube Project Professional application.

E-Tube Ride

Shimano’s E-Tube Ride application allows you to visualize your ride with a route map to your destination, a real time ride data display, and ride record data on your smartphone while you are on your bike. You can also upload your ride log data to Strava.
