Ian Blackie-Taylor

I started in triathlon the year before the Iron War between Dave Scott and Mark Allen, so have spent over 25 years in the sport. In that time I’ve competed at all distances from Sprint to Ironman. I’ve qualified and represented Team GB as an Age Group athlete at the World Championships. I’m a qualified British Triathlon & British Cycling Road & Time Trial coach, qualified in cycle-fitting at Cyclefit in London, studying under Phil Cavell and Pairic McGlynn. I’ve also qualified as a Yoga teacher to further my knowledge on particular strength and conditioning aspects for triathlon and cycle sport.

I am currently coaching a small number of athletes competing at all levels of the sport, from complete novice to Ironman athletes as well as those aiming at World Championship events and a current National Youth champion.
