The Truro office of Francis Clark LLP are holding a cycle networking event on 20 September 2013. This is the first event of its kind we have
held, but if successful, we would like it to become a regular fixture.
Our aim is to combine a bike ride with an informal networking event. There will be plenty of opportunities before, during and after the event to chat and meet like-minded professionals.
The event itself will be held at the Bissoe Cycle Centre, near Truro, from 8am on Friday the 20th September.
The event will start with a chat and pre-ride drinks (non-alcoholic, of course) before the cycle ride begins.
Plenty of parking is available at the cycle centre for attendees.
The ride will leave from Bissoe, through Chacewater and Blackwater and then to Porthtowan on the north coast. We will then follow the coast road towards Gwithian and then head back through Pool, Carnkie and Lanner before reaching Bissoe. This is a ride of approximately 30 miles which should take no more than 2½ hours.
Being based on Cornish roads, you should expect some hills although none of them are too steep! All riders will then be able to replenish those burnt calories at the end with teas, coffees and bacon rolls.
We expect the event to be over by 11.30am.
There is no entry fee or cost to riders, however you must ensure that you bring a suitable bike and appropriate clothing including a helmet.
