Orica GreenEDGE

Orica GreenEDGE (OGE) were launched in January 2011, and admitted by the UCI, to the World Tour in December 2011. The majority of the team are home grown Australians, infact 17 of their 30 riders are Australian, and the team has an arrangement with the Team Jayco-AIS to act as its non-exclusive feeder team. The team also has a women's team and supports its riders performing track cycling

Did you know this famous Australian road race team is backed by Australian businessman Gerry Ryan who owns Jayco Australia.

They are without doubt the most fun team cycle team in the pro peloton! Check out their AC/DC tribute released during the 2013 Tour de France.

The team is under the management of Andrew Ryan and Shayne Bannan, plus Neil Stephens (a former Tour de France stage winner) and Matt White calling the shots as directeur sportifs.

Watch out for riders such as Luke Durbridge (Australian national TT and Road Race champion 2013), Darly Impey (The first south african wearer of the TdF yellow jersey 2013), Simon Gerrans (who has a Cornish grandfather!).

Our favourite rider is Cameron Meyer a superb track rider.

We have their team jersey signed by all the riders on display at Bike Chain Bissoe Bike Hire - How many signatures can you name?
